Bloodborne Pathogens

BloodBorne Pathogens in the Workplace covers common blood borne diseases and safe work practices to avoid accidental exposures to any potentially infectious material. You’ll learn how to safely handle an exposure is one should accidentally occur. We review your rights and requirements as an employee or an employer. Bloodborne Pathogens certifications valid for 1 year. This course meets the requirements for OSHA, The Dept. of Health, and The Dept. of Labor & Industries.

Scheduling: If you are taking a CPR class, just schedule this class for the same day and time as your CPR classroom training appointment.

Who should take this hybrid BloodBorne Pathogens certification class? Every employee with a risk of occupational exposure. Healthcare professionals, CNAs, childcare providers, construction, manufacturing, maritime etc.

BLS CPR (HeartCode BLS Skills Session)

This is an AHA HeartCode BLS CPR Skills Session -Basic Life Support CPR For Healthcare Providers/ Professional Rescuers

 

Classroom Time: 70 Minutes

Cost: $95.00

You must purchase and completed the American Heart Associations HeartCode BLS online course from the AHA prior to attending this skills session class. A link to purchase the online course will be provided in your confirmation email. BLS CPR certifications are valid for 2 years and comply with The Department of Health and workplace requirements.

To receive an American Heart Association HeartCode BLS CPR certification you must successfuly complete your online course and BLS CPR skills session.

At this HeartCode BLS CPR skills session we cover one and two rescuer CPR for adults, children and infants. We review bag mask use, respiratory arrest and choking. A physical skills test is required in class. Students have the opportunity to repeat the exam at no cost if necessary. This is an American Heart Association BLS CPR certification card.

Scheduling Changes, No Problem. Please provide 24 hours notice before your original class for a free transfer. A make-up class can be scheduled in the event of an absence, when less than 24 hours notice was provided, or when a student is more than 10 minutes late for class. Make-up skills sessions can be purchased for a reduced $40 tuition fee. No refunds, no exceptions.

BLS CPR (HeartCode Online Course w/Skills Session)

AHA HeartCode BLS CPR Skills Session -Basic Life Support CPR For Healthcare Providers/ Professional Rescuers

 

Classroom Time: 1 Hour & 15 minutes

Total Cost: $139 (Skills Session $94 + $45 AHA BLS Online Course Included)

HeartCode BLS CPR is The American Heart Association eLearning CPR course for Healthcare Providers. Blended classes combine self-paced online learning with an instructor-led classroom skills session. BLS CPR certifications are valid for 2 years and comply with The Department of Health and workplace requirements. The HeartCode BLS online course must be completed prior to attending your CPR skills session. A confirmation email will be send upon registration. The online course can be started right away. The online portion takes about 1.5+ hours. Receive a HeartCode BLS CPR certification immediately upon completing your scheduled CPR skills session.

This is a hybrid CPR/AED & First Aid class for Adult patients only. Classes are a combination of an online course, and a 1-hour CPR & first aid skills class at WestCoast CPR Training Center in Shoreline.

  1. Enroll and pay for your preferred class date and time below.
  2. Complete the online video course before your scheduled class date.
  3. Attend your scheduled class for the hands-on skills practice session.

It's That Easy!

  • Online Training Time: Learn at your own pace, Typically takes anywhere from 1.5 up to 3.5 hours to complete.
  • Classroom Time: 1 Hour or Less!
  • Cost: $104

The online course is self-guided and can take up to 3.5 hours or less to complete. It can also be done much faster depending on the individual. You can stop and start the course as needed. We will send a link by email to access your online course. You can learn at your own pace, from the comfort of your own home. 

The classroom training is hands-on practice of the skills you learn online. We will make sure your feel comfortable with the skills and equipment, and answer questions. You will receive a Adult CPR/AED & First Aid certification card right away upon completion of your hands-on skills class. Medic First Aid certification cards are valid for 2 years and comply with OSHA and workplace requirements. A pdf student handbook is included with purchase.

CPR/AED & First Aid for Adults, Children & Infants

This is a hybrid CPR/AED & First Aid class for Adult, Child, and Infant patients. Classes are a combination of an online course, and a 1-hour CPR & first aid skills class at WestCoast CPR Training Center in Shoreline.

The classroom training is hands-on practice of the skills you learn online. We will make sure your feel comfortable with the skills and equipment, and answer questions. You will receive a Adult, Child, Infant CPR/AED & First Aid certification card right away upon completion of your hands-on skills class. First Aid

This is a hybrid First Aid class. Classes are a combination of an online course, and a 30 minute hands-on first aid skills class at WestCoast CPR Training Center in Shoreline.

  3. Attend your scheduled class for the hands-on skills practice session.
